Green Highlander (hook, 1 1/4 to 2 inches) :
Tag : Silver tinsel.
Tail : A topping and barred Summer Duck in strands.
Butt: Black herl.
Body : First quarter, golden yellow floss ; remainder, bright green floss.
Ribs : Oval silver tinsel.
Hackle : A grass-green hackle.
Throat : A lemon hackle.
Wings : Mixed tippet in strands; "married" strands of yellow, orange, and green
Swan, Florican, Peacock wing and Golden Pheasant tail; "married" narrow strips of
Teal and barred Summer Duck ; narrowstrips of brown Mallard over.
Sides : Jungle Cock.
Cheeks : Indian Crow ; a topping over all.
Horns : Blue and Yellow Macaw.
I fancyed this with a double rib and used a gold hook.

TAG. Silver twist and canary silk.
TAIL. A topping and Teal.
BUTT. Black herl.
BODY. Two turns of yellow silk and green Seal's fur.
RIBS. Silver tinsel.
HACKLE. Green from yellow silk.
THROAT. A yellow hackle.
WINGS. Two tippets (back to back) veiled with light and dark Bustard, Golden Pheasant
tail, dark mottled Turkey, Swan dyed green, Mallard and a topping.
HORNS. Blue Macaw.

This is the version of Green Highlander mostly seen today.
It has the body of Kelson and wing of Pryce-Tannatt.

Butt: Svart strutseherl
Kropp: Orange silke, rød, orange, rød og blå selull i like deler.
Ribb: Flat og rund sølv tinsel.
Kroppshackle: Magenta hane hackle fra 2 ribb.
Fronthackle: Blå hane og svart hegre
Vinge: Tippetfjær rygg mot rygg og jungelcock rygg mot rygg. Mixede
fibre fra brunspettet kalkun, gul, rød og blå kalkun, bustard og gullfasan.
Topping over.
Kinn: Isfugl
Horn: Rød/blå macaw
Hode: Svart, lakert.

fur, remainder blue fur, picked out.
Ribbed. Broad silver tinsel and silver lace.
Hackle. Magenta from scarlet fur.
Throat. Greenish- blue hackle, and then long black heron.
Wings. Under, two tippets back to back, extending to butt, two long jungle cock
over them ; at the sides, strips of bustard, golden pheasant tail, peacock's wing,
swan dyed red, green, and blue ; two strips of mallard above ; two toppings over.
Cheeks. Light chatterer.
Horns. Blue, red, and yellow macaw.
